Fairfax City Dental Veneers: Remedy for Tooth Discoloration
Coffee has come a long way. What used to be an acquired taste is now fashionable. It could be because of the slick coffee joints sprouting up everywhere offering customers doughnuts and fancy sandwiches with their beverage. Or because of too much overtime in the modern workplace. Each one of us can give a different reason for liking coffee but the effects of this habit has an impact on us all. It can cause heart problems, it makes us go to the bathroom frequently and it discolors our teeth. If we don't brush, we can have halitosis, which is a big word that means nothing more than bad breath.
Coffee and cigarettes are also a wicked mix. You see it a lot and is the reason you get discoloration of your teeth. This is something that is affecting too many youngsters. Then there are the commercial sodas that are very popular with kids. They cause staining just like coffee and cigarettes. It also depends on your age and your genes.
You should also avoid chewing tobacco because it is a sure-fire cause for teeth discoloration. The teeth enamel is affected most because of the tar from the tobacco and gives us the classic black-teeth look of coal miners. The dangers of tobacco are nowadays well known and you find that a lot of folks have had enough.
More about sodas. Have you seen those experiments? You have a tooth and you put it in some cola. Just watch as the soda proceeds to make the tooth dissolve in no time at all. In my opinion, I'm not sure it is something we can give up very easily. However, you could help yourself by drinking from a straw. That way we can bypass the teeth and stop the soda from staining. Straws really do work but I don't think it will do the job for hot beverages, such as coffee or green tea, which I drink a lot of.
If you are among the folks who do have stains on your teeth, you can get rid of them. Even if they are heavily stained, I can help. Just make a visit to my Fairfax City dentist office and let me see the damage. After a good look, I can see whether we just need to clean your teeth or we should take your teeth out…
Gotcha! In reality, you can have Fairfax City dental veneers. They are durable, your teeth won't get damaged and they don't stain. For all that protection, it is certainly worth the effort.
