Fairfax City Dental Implants - A Long-term Solution
Ahead of mounting a dental implant in my patients, their gums and jaw get a thorough inspection. These need to be in a strong, vigorous condition. I have to take care of them if they aren't healthy before we can put in that dental implant.
If you only have a minor issue, such as bleeding gums, in that case we can proceed with medication. But if it's something more major, such as the gum being worn down, or if you have damaged jowls, another dental procedure may be required ahead of the implant being mounted.
>From time to time I use bones or bone prosthetics to make the mounting location for the Fairfax City dental implant root more stable. Foundation stability is very important prior to the implant procedure. Kind of like manufacturing a house. The foundation is always checked to make sure that it is strong and can stand up to exterior pressures.
When the jaw is all ready to go, we'll conduct a surgical procedure that will implant the roots. You will notice that in my Fairfax City implant dentistry center, I am very thorough, especially at this stage of our procedure. We will know by how this part of the process comes out how secure the implant will be.
I will have my patients return every now and then, so I can make sure that the jaw and tissues are going to reject the implant. Using resonance frequency analysis, palpation or x-rays will help me know if the implant is taking root. This will determine if I go to the next stage of adding the crown or if we should delay in order to give the foundation enough time to get strong.
At my Fairfax City dental implant office, you will find out that I am very meticulous right from the start. I like to be sure that what I do and what you have will last for a long, long time.
